“Speaking Up For Rights”

Nicholas Wolterstorff is Noah Porter Professor Emeritus of Philosophical Theology at Yale University. He is also Senior Scholar at the Institute for Advanced Studies in Culture at the University of Virginia. As a philosopher Professor Wolterstorff has published in most of the main areas of philosophy throughout his career including epistemology, metaphysics, aesthetics, and he is currently working in ethics focusing on love and justice. His book Justice: Rights and Wrongs is just out on Princeton University Press.

Professor Wolterstorff will also present a lecture on “Love and Justice” Monday, February 18, 2008 at 7:30 pm at the Center.
