As a service to the university community the Study Center hosts Pascal’s Coffeehouse, a place where faculty, students, and others in our neighborhood gather to do the work of the university/community and the work of the center. Pascal’s also serves as an academic lounge where our neighbors can simply take a break. Pascal’s features excellent coffees and espresso drinks made by hand from beans that are organically grown, ethically traded, and artisan-roasted by Sweetwater Organic Coffee Company here in Gainesville. Offering a beautiful setting, comfortable furnishings, and excellent drinks and pastries, Pascal’s offers a welcoming environment in which to think, study, write, converse, collaborate, convene seminars, hold small group discussions, host office hours, browse the library, read the journals, and explore the educational programs that the center offers.

Pascal’s also offers gallery space to Christian artists who are exploring the intersection of Christian thought and artistic creativity.

Hours of operation: Pascal’s at the Christian Study Center is open whenever the University of Florida is in session, and it is closed whenever UF is on break.
